Three strips vase

For this piece, I opted for a speckled clay instead of the usual smooth stoneware. Most of the surface remains unglazed to reveal the iron particles in the clay body. It has a wonderfully smooth feel, as the iron would have melted during the final firing. I deliberately selected three strips of glaze with varying opacities to accentuate the speckles.
