Hello, I'm Whitney Choi, the founder of MacChoi Pottery based in Glasgow, Scotland. My pottery journey began in 2021-2 when I took two courses at The Craft Pottery Studio. By late September 2022, I started renting a wheel and have been there every Sunday since. Initially, I focused on making larger pieces, but I have recently discovered the joy of creating tiny pots. I hold a degree in chemistry, and I am naturally drawn to the chemical properties of clay bodies and glazes. I have a curious nature and enjoy experimenting with new techniques. Each piece is sanded and polished, ensuring a smooth bottom. I'm passionate about trying out new techniques and creating unique pieces.
