Large sharing platter

This sharing platter is a wide, wheel-thrown piece, centred around smaller, integrated bowls, drawing the eye inward through concentric rings of colour and form. Soft blue-grey glazes sweep across the broad surface in gentle circular motion, recalling tidal currents or weathered stone, while warmer iron-rich tones emerge at the rim and central well. The glossy terracotta-red bowl at the heart of the piece anchors the composition, creating a striking contrast in both colour and scale.

The form encourages both use and contemplation—inviting shared food, ritual placement, or quiet display.
