Corona

Radiant and elemental, Corona draws its visual energy from the celestial spectacle of the sun’s outer atmosphere. With a burnished palette of molten ambers, deep sienna, and golden ochre, the surface pulses with warmth — like solar flares captured in glaze. Concentric rings ripple outward from the raised centre, evoking the sun’s glowing corona as seen during an eclipse.

The glaze application creates dynamic movement across the surface, with delicate halos of lighter glaze giving the impression of heat shimmering at the edges. Flecks of ash-grey punctuate the design, suggesting fleeting prominences breaking through the fiery haze.

Both functional and symbolic, Corona bridges the terrestrial and the cosmic, it reflects a reverence for the universe’s awe-inspiring power, rendered through craft.
